Sainsburys is situated on parsonage retail park in Leigh, it is so convenient because argos, comet jjb and lots of other little shops are there too, I do like Sainsburys because have a nicer selection of bread and cakes etc I would honest say that they have a much nicer selection of food accross the whole supermarket, with lots of speciality foods that cant be purchased anywhere else.
The cafe is handy for a quick coffee before you start your shopping or a lovely dinner, I sometimes leave the children in the cafe while I shop because they get bored so easily, they love the childrens menu and it is presented so nice in the little kids boxes with a toy etc.
I also have to add that it is always easy to park on Sainsburys carpark because it is huge. I like the convenience of visiting the other shops on the retail park before I go shopping. -

This has to be the best supermarket choice in Leigh. Completely rebuilt a few years ago, there is a cafe and clothing section upstairs. There is also a fresh fish counter, always lots of special offers and a fantastic wine selection. I find that it also tends to be cheaper for my shopping that the competition down the road! Maybe I don't visit at peak times but I never find the place too rammed and parking is always easy.

The staff are generally friendly but that is about the only positive thing about this store. Products are frequently out of stock and stock rotation is not very good as when they are running low on stock you frequently find products that are a few weeks/months out of date. The 'fresh' fruit and veg is shambolic- its often mouldy. Not ideal store layout as basic things are often hidden away in a corner that you don't visit. I prefer the M&S foodhall next door as its better quality but it is a bit smaller and slightly more expensive

Sainsburys store in Leigh is situated on Parsonage Retail Park off Atherleigh way, which also has others stores including JJB, Jd, Argos, Halfords, Instore and Next.
The Sainsburys store is modern, attractive, clean, spacious, friendly and offers a good selection of products.
Including Electrical, clothing, entertainment, Dvd's, Cd's to name a few and of course a great variety of grocery foods and beverages.
At this time the store is offering a good selection of products at reduced prices or on a special offer and also stocks alternative 'basics' own brand products which are often good quality eg pasta, weet biscuits and beans.
The store also has a seasonal section which at this time is offering a good quality selection of christmas gifts, including Jamie Oliver products. Also stocked is a wide choice of store gift cards.
This store is one of my favourite places to shop as the staff are very helpful and friendly and make the shopping experience pleasant.
Sainsburys in Leigh is Highly recommended by me -

didnt like the attitude of the checkout manager joanne culbert she was very rude and unhelpful i had trouble parking in the first place,i had lunch in cafe it was cold and disgusting also it was expensive
